Hauls, reviews and weekly memes are incredibly fun to read when I’m trying to pass time or inform myself of new books. However, while they will always have a special place in my heart, there is no denying that seeing similar posts flooding my feed can get stale. This is where discussion posts come into play. Not only can these be slightly more entertaining due to the leeway bloggers get from not having specifications, but I’ll always come away from them having learnt something. I love these posts, and think they’re a brilliant way of letting the writer shine. So why have I posted so little of them?
Well they’re difficult, for one. I don’t know how to come up with new ideas, or I’m just too lazy to create my own format for the discussion. But I’ve been trying to step up my game for a while now. So when I came across the 2017 Book Blog Discussion Challenge, I thought that it would be the perfect way to keep me on my toes. I’m going to try and post as many discussions as it is reasonable (I still need to post reviews, top tens etc) and I’m going to link them down here ↓
